I was removing the logic board and I noticed the EMI shield black covering peeled off. Do I need to replace the EMI shields or will it be fine if I leave it the way that it is? I am worried about the phone overheating without it.
Depending on how you define “fine”. It won’t be technically identical, but the difference isn’t significant or relevant in most cases. Is that what you mean “fine”.
