Chosen Solution
My canon eos20d comes up with err cf as soon as I turn it on
- taken out lense/ battery/ cf to sit for a bit
- tried restarting with fresh battery
- bought new compact flash, same issue
- tried to format new card, new error stating ’err 99’ any help much appreciated!!!
Hi tarli, I did some research on your two errors. It seems that the issue is related to a defective cf card port or even a defective/broken circuit board of the cf unit. The problem does not seem to be related to a software issue. Is there still guarantee on your camera?
