I changed the fan but forgot to put back the small plate stuck to it. How bad is it if I don’t put it back in place ? (I’m lazy and it works atm)
Based on the information provided, the little plate is most likely a heatsink, in which case you might have slightly worse performance (5-10%), but you’ll most likely be fine. Either way, if you have time, I would recommend fixing it, and just putting the part back where it goes.
