Pressing the latch release bar does not pop the lid up because hooks are loose. It appears the hooks have come off the spring and does not let hooks stand out. Latch release mechanism works fine What parts do I need? Is there a guide to open the lid to access the hooks assembly?
No springs it’s a magnet that pulls the catches out (a spring holds them back). Take a paperclip and just place it near the release button to find the magnet.
