My Vizio TV Model D40-D1 sticks on one channel and the remote won’t work. This happens on only one (antenna access only) channel. Reset does not help. Possibly a faulty ir sensor. How do I find ir sensor model number without taking my tv apart?
Does the remote work at all? If so, navigate the menus and locate the channel search option. If the set only found 1 channel from that antenna, it can’t channel up or down since it knows of no other channels. Report back with the results of the channel search before you open up the set or replace parts. Dan
