My i pod touch has rainbow colored lines on it and i think it may have been by a magnet and I cant get rid of it.
gbscobel, your iPod Touch is very unlikely to have received any damage from a magnet. The LCD is not affected by magnetism. From what you describe it sounds more like a broken LCD. you may consider posting an image of what your screen looks like with your question. For that use this guide. Ultimately it sounds like a new LCD is in order.
